Youth Need a Positive Community...
Teenagers are going to belong to a group. Will that group be a positive or negative force in their lives? That is the question that Firebreak Youth Minstries confidently answers! Christianity doesn't describe a religion, or set of rules. It describes a relationship. That relationship with Jesus Christ is what describes and defines our ministry. Jesus' love in the hearts of a group of people who have a collective broken heart for the youth in our community. Teens and young adults who find us will experience the Love of Jesus Christ, know His Truth, Learn to Express their love for Him, and learn to care about others doing the same thing.
Youth Need Consistency...
We meet every week. We believe that a community is consistently together. That is why we worship, grow, care about eachother, and have fun together every Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mondays- Our high school youth are together from 4:30pm to 9:00pm.
Tuesdays- Our junior high youth are together from 4:45pm to 8:00pm
Both of the above meet at:

Youth Need Enriching Experiences...
Firebreak Youth Ministries creates opportunities for youth and young adults to get away and learn about Jesus from life through enriching retreats and missions trips.
Winter Rereat
Every year we find a quite place to take our youth to let them relax, enjoy creation, have fun in a safe positive way, learn more about Jesus, bond with positive people, and be the weird crazy people that teens and young adults are! In 2005 we went to Crestline, CA, this year we will be going to Paradise Valley Ranch. The Men and Eomen's ministries of New Hope have used this retreat center before and it should be perfect for our youth.
Fall Rereat
After our youth and young adults have started the new school year, just when things are starting to become stressful again, just when they have started to feel the grind of a long school year.... we take them to San Elijo State Beach in California and let them unwind! San elijo State Beach is a gorgeous camp ground. Great food, great people, lots of fun and relaxation, all while face to face with the love of Jesus and His truth, provide youth with an unforgetable experience.
The Extreme Tour
Everyone agrees that youth are selfish. What do you think it does to the character of a teenager or young adult when you teach them to be selfless and uncomfortable. It does amazing things! Every year, our youth save and raise money all summer to go be exhausted, eat horrible food, sleep in uncomfortable places, and be with people they usually wouldn't be comfortable with. Why do they do this? To help people. Why are they willing to do this? Because the youth that go on this 8 day missions trip have learned to love Jesus and live His Truth through all the other minisitres and experiences that we provide!.
