If only I could go back…

How many times have we as parents wished that we could go back and change the way we handled something?  I think it is safe to say that all of us want to make the best decisions when it comes to parenting.  What amazes me is how many people are informed less about how to make good parenting decisions than they are about things that are way less of a priority!  Dad’s, how many of us know all the details about that car we dream of and can rattle off everything we know about that special car in an instant, but when it comes to saying the right things to our sons and daughters about sex we don’t educate ourselves at all?  Now if you have it all together and you don’t need more educating when it comes to the world of parenting, bravo for you, but what about the thousands or more parents that would love to know how they can make the right parenting decisions every time? Now while no parent is perfect, imagine having access to a knowledge base that draws from the real experiences, including the mistakes, of hundreds of thousands of parents.  That knowledge-base would need to be practical.  It would need to give you real steps to take, inform you about the culture your kids are growing up in, and then give you the support you need to follow through and hold the line with your kids.  All parents could benefit from such as system, but imagine being a parent that is ready to give-up because their teen is out of control and they have no idea what to do about it.  I give you Parent Project.  All over the nation these awesome parenting courses are revolutionizing the way parents raise their kids.  Most of these courses are free or have a nominal cost.  As a facilitator of the Parent Project course I have seen families restored first hand.  If you are having trouble with your kids, need guidance, or would simply love the support of other parents I suggest you leave this blog right now and go to parentproject.com and find a class near you. HAVE A GREAT WEEK! NOW GO BE A  PARENT!
